We look for places with a strong sense of identity — architecture that responds to its setting, service that reflects local culture, and experiences that connect guests with the destination. Selection is an editorial decision; we do not accept payment for inclusion.

How we verify

• Hotel facts — locations, design credits, facilities, opening dates — are checked against official property or brand sources.
• We never invent amenities, awards, prices, ratings, reviews, opening dates or history.
• When details change, we update the page and its modified date.

How we separate opinion

Editorial commentary always appears under labelled headings such as “Why We Like It”, “Editorial take” or “Editor's Notes”, so you can always tell fact from point of view.

How we link

Booking links follow a strict order: the property's official website, then its official booking page, then a verified third-party booking platform. We never publish guessed or invented URLs. Reservations and payments are handled by the property or provider, not by us.

About our imagery

Where we don't hold licensed hotel photography, we use clearly captioned illustrative destination imagery — never presented as the hotel itself.
